How to be Recognized as an Official Finisher
Recognition is based on the honor system. If you complete the route in the spirit it was intended, we would love to recognize you on the site.
What Counts
All five legendary roads
Complete the full Great Southern Parkway route, whether northbound or southbound, in one trip or over multiple trips.
What To Submit
Three photos from the drive
We plan to feature up to three photos per finisher or couple, so your submission should include images from along the route.

Recognized by vehicle type
Finishers can be distinguished by categories such as Car/RV and Motorcycle to celebrate different ways of experiencing the route.

Recognition FAQ
No. The route can be completed in one continuous trip or over multiple trips. The goal is to complete the full Great Southern Parkway, even if real life means doing it in sections.
Either direction counts. You can complete the route northbound or southbound and still be recognized as an official finisher.
Reasonable detours for road closures are fine. The idea is to preserve the spirit of the route rather than disqualify travelers for conditions outside their control.
This is an honor-system route. We ask for three photos from along the drive because they help tell your story and let us celebrate your finish on the site.
Motorcycles present a particularly difficult version of the drive, so we felt they should be recognized separately to honor that added challenge. Car/RV and Motorcycle categories make the finisher list more meaningful. And if anyone is determined enough to complete the Great Southern Parkway by bicycle, we will gladly create a new list for that mode too.
